Exciting meaty Office Administrator role at Intelligence firm based in the West End, paying up to £24k DOE!

We have an exciting Office Administrator role on at a Cyber Defence Intelligence advisory firm based in the West End.



Overview
The Office Administrator is currently responsible for providing a front of house service for the London office and supports the Office Manager, based inside the office with the rest of the team.

Salary: £22,000-24,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, income protection, private healthcare, life insurance/critical illness and pension matched up to 5%
Location: West End
Hours: 09:00 - 18:00
Start date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Office Manager

Key Responsibilities
▪ Telephone support, first point of contact for clients and enquiries
▪ Transferring calls and taking accurate messages
▪ Answering the intercom and the office front door in line with office procedures
▪ Meeting and greeting visitors
▪ Managing boardrooms and their bookings
▪ Assisting in resolving IT and phone issues by submitting tickets to the relevant parties
▪ Facilities management: arranging small repair works for the office
▪ Ordering stationery and kitchen supplies including making sure the stationery area is kept
clean and tidy at all times
▪ Arranging taxis and couriers
▪ Responsible for arranging business travel for the London office, with the exception of senior
management
▪ Issuing corporate and travel phones, and USB sticks
▪ Events Management
▪ Updating internal databases and spreadsheets, including supporting the Conflict Check
process
▪ Visiting the post office and distributing post daily
▪ Document binding and filing
▪ Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and papers for meetings

Personal profile
▪ Previous experience of one year in working in a busy office environment and handling switchboard is essential
▪ Education to A Level equivalent, degree preferable
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
▪ Good level knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
▪ Confident and willing to take ownership of tasks
▪ Professional attitude and client facing skills
▪ An organised individual with a keen attention to detail
▪ A proactive approach to problem solving
▪ A positive and "roll up sleeves" attitude is paramount
