Office Assistant role available at fast growing and successful Higher Education Consultancy specialising in overseas applications to universities across the US, UK and Canada. Salary £22K (dependent on experience)

As the Office Assistant, you will assist in the smooth daily operations of this busy and dynamic office environment where no two days are the same. You will be an integral member of the company and as the company continues to grow you will have the scope to progress to EA or Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Completing basic office administration tasks
    1. Assisting with general administrative support
    2. Performing basic financial records keeping and sorting mail
    3. Assisting with scheduling, planning, and executing office events and meetings
  1. Managing general office
    1. Ensuring client meeting areas are presentable and tidy
    2. Greeting clients and providing them with refreshments
    3. Running errands, ordering supplies and shopping for the company, as directed
    4. Basic office maintenance
  1. Acting as the personal assistant to the CEO, as required
    1. Managing both personal and professional schedules and diary
    2. Basic correspondence, notetaking, and data entry
    3. Ensuring smooth coordination between CEO and company team

Person Specification

  • Independent, with the ability to self-motivate and show initiative
  • Friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, with good time management and a keen eye for detail
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt and manage a variety of competing priorities

Required Qualifications

  • Some degree of administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google (Dropbox, Calendar, Gmail)
  • A basic interest in the education sector
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle considered an asset (petrol to be compensated)

Hours: 9am - 5pm
