Job description

Receptionist and Facilities Assistant duties:

As the Receptionist and Facilities Assistant, you will be a part of the Operations and Support team. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting all clients, ensuring the office is kept tidy and having a firm grip on the meeting rooms and front of house area. During the Covid-19 pandemic, this role may have a different emphasis (more admin and less meet and greet) than after the Covid-19 Pandemic so flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in is key.

  • Day-to-day responsibility for front of house duties, including greeting clients, organising catering, setting up and clearing meeting rooms plus ensuring the office is kept tidy at all time
  • Answering the phone
  • Distributing post and deliveries
  • Ordering stationery and supplies
  • Assist with IT and phone queries
  • Ad hoc duties to support the rest of the operations team and cover absence
  • Help with general admin requests
  • Liaising with client PA contacts where required and organising events

About You:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an exceptional telephone manner
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and work to set deadlines
  • A team worker who can also use their own initiative
  • Literate and numerate
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Co-operative and helpful attitude
  • Hard working, self-sufficient and extremely motivated
  • Friendly & personable with a 'can do attitude'
