Job description

This established and leading advertising and PR consultancy is looking for an incredibly organised and efficient Receptionist. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all Front of House responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. You will be based at the Reception desk and will be responsible for all inbound calls, meeting and greeting of guests, coordinating the meetings room bookings, processing post and deliveries and booking taxi's/couriers. There will also be occasional admin support to the PA's. They are open on experience level, but would like a motivated and driven individual. At times, you will be covering the reception desk by yourself, so you will need to be very self-sufficient and a quick learner.

Accountabilities:
* Provide administration support to the Central Team (predominately the Office Manager)
* Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
* Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
* Perform other administrative receptionist duties such as ordering office supplies, photocopying, maintenance, pod moves, collating etc.
* Facilitating induction schedules for new starters/work experience
* Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and announcing them appropriately
* Serve refreshments for meetings are required.
* Booking and managing meeting rooms, ensuring they are presentable and stocked with appropriate supplies and refreshments
* To ensure that rooms are cleaned after use and ready for the next meeting
* Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access
* Work alongside the in-house chef to provide catering support (formal lunch set-up etc)
* Receive/Send and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
* Keep an inventory of the stock cupboard & stationery to order supplies as needed
* Ensuring office space is neat and tidy
* Manage changing rooms (toiletries, assign lockers, towel service)

Key Skills:
* Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities
* Professional appearance
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
* Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Proficiency in MS Office

Salary: up to £28k
Hours: 08:00-17:00 with one hour lunch break. Breakfast and lunch is provided by in house chef!
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract
