Job description

They are looking for an Admin & Events Assistant to support the Executive Director and Events Manager. This role includes various duties such as diary management, preparing invoices, organising payments, answering queries, taking notes in meetings and liaising with members as well as Events & Marketing. The role is based in london in the education and training research industry.

Their main revenue generator is events and as they are a membership based organisation who really focus on good mission ethics. They are sustainability focused and a not for profit organisation. They are all really nice and are looking for someone who is team centric and happy to muck in. UrbanPlan is a classroom-based programme in which students learn about the fundamental forces that affect urban regeneration. It is an educational initiative that has been running successfully in high schools in the US since 2003; in Europe since 2014 and Asia since 2018. It's now reached nearly 60,000 students and enabled hundreds of members to share their experiences. It brings the urban environment to life for young people through a series of interactive workshops and team working challenges.

The events assistant salary is approx. £11.34 per hour, including holiday pay. (there may be room to move on this DOE)

The events assistant role will be a Temp to Perm position, with the view of the role going permanent (usually 3 months temping before perm, similar to a probationary periods)

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm, 5 days working from home with flexibility to go into the office when needed.
