Job description

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Director within the aesthetics industry to lead, manage and improve the efficiency of the New Product Development and Operations team!

The role will entail:

Maintaining an efficient, regular, clear and concise dialogue between the Founder and team

Assuming full accountability for all company NPD and EPD operations

Be aware of all key skincare and competitor trends with a focus on product and ingredient opportunities to ensure that the business is always ahead with product innovation and customer brand immersion and purchasing behaviour

Promote and lead with example, the company ethos and company culture internally and externally

Retain, motivate, coach, nurture staff and hire the best talent to propel the company towards a collective view to achieve business objectives

Department budget management

Representing NPD team at internal meetings

Overall NPD strategy/launch timings

Oversee NPD internal communications documents

Approve briefs for presenting to Founder

Oversee project briefing

Approve artwork for presenting to Founder

Approval renders/visuals for presenting to Founder

Approve samples/colour matches for presenting to Founder

Oversee formula development

Approve pack copy for presenting to Founder

Supplier management

Supplier strategy Oversee testing/regulatory

Oversee clinical/user trials and approve protocols to present to Founder

Business case approval for presenting to Founder

Approve logistics strategies

Attend print press approvals

Review and approve department process docs

Attend trade shows/seminars

Approve supplier innovation to present to Founder

Innovation and sustainability research into packaging and ingredients
